What is good my online friends! I hope you guys are having a great day today and thank you for stopping by my blog again today.
In my last post I talked about how I wanted you to take that first step. If you for any reason missed it, you can check it out here.
I’m pretty fired up today, in a good way so let’s dive right in!
Quick Story I wanted to share with you guys regarding todays post..
I have a buddy of mine who moved into town a couple years back. We had a couple classes together and hit it off during one project we had to do together. I remember going to his house and thinking, Man “this guy must be rich!”
His house was HUGE!
I came to find out his dad had several businesses back where they had lived and decided to move for his sons sports career.
After making my decision to hold off on college, one of the first people I talked to about it was actually him.
I knew he was someone I looked up to and wanted to get his advice.
I always remember what we told me. ” in life there are 2 kinds of people. One who will FEAR making moves in their life and just be complacent, and the other person who will have that FEAR, but take the action anyway and get everything they want in life”
He told me when he first started his Carpet Cleaning Company, which you can go and check him out his site www.cleaningmcallencarpets.com he was terrified about not making it.
But he made it happen.
I want you to think about something that you have possibly been putting off. Here are a couple of examples of things you might have been putting off for awhile..
Have you been thinking about getting back on track with your healthy eating habits?
Maybe you have been wanting to get back into a gym routine as well?
Have you been wanting to start a side business to supplement some of your income?
Whatever it is that you have been putting off, why do you think you have been holding off?
Really when it comes down to it, it’s one thing..
So many of us stop ourselves from doing things because we fear that something MIGHT happen.
For me, as you know, I recently decided that I was not going to college for my first year out of High School. My fear came in twice. The first, was when I decided I was going to finally tell my parents.
The 2nd was when I had made the decision, told my parents, and now it was a fear feeling of “What do I do now?”
At the end of it all, I felt the FEAR and did it anyway.
And you know what happened? Nothing what I had drilled in my mind leading up to the decision.
You see the best way to beat fear is to understand that it will creep up, but to not let it take over your life.
What is it that you are FEAR? Is that fear worth you not achieving your goals that you know you want to get to?
Take that first step my friends!
